Recently, my friend and colleague suggested to me the idea of a seminar on the topic “Am I worse than everyone else or not after all”.
In the thoughts before him, as I usually do, there is something to say here;)
First, of course, ALL thinking people sometimes experience this state. And those who seem to be at the top and those who are very far even from the foot.
Secondly, the world is really full of economists, lawyers, astrologers, psychologists, manicurists and other professions. Moreover, as soon as you go somewhere to study, you get into a community where they are probably invisible and you think, God, you will never break through here! But! In nail salons, people are booked two or three months in advance, psychologists are recruited for training many times a year by various educational institutions, and yet … the number of unhappy people in the world is still huge, however, as well as with unkempt nails.
It is not difficult to draw a conclusion, you can do it yourself.
And thirdly, if you made the same conclusion as I did, it becomes obvious that it is impossible to occupy someone else’s niche just as no one will occupy yours. It will have to be hollowed out by yourself and the number of people around is of no use at all. Its depth, width and height are entirely your merit.
If you made some other conclusion that you have the right to live differently 😉
And instead of an epilogue, I will say that I think the idea “I’m worse than everyone else or better” makes sense only in competitive sports. Where everyone of the same weight, growing in age, does exactly the same thing in a certain time frame – running, for example.
All other options, in my opinion, cannot be compared. And so your life, your story, and the measure of success is your personal business and no one else has the authority to do so. Just try to stay on your side so that it doesn’t happen and you will feel what it means to be in harmony with the world and yourself.
And wait for the seminar;) there will be;)
